For those who are just starting to explore the world of SEO, one of the hardest parts of SEO can be finding high-quality sources of information. I've been doing search engine optimization (SEO) since 2002, and I've overcome a number of SEO challenges since then. Ultimately, however, the hardest things about the job aren't what you'd expect. I once had a conversation with a CTO who didn't believe me when I told him that a 302 redirect was treated differently by search engines than a 301 redirect.
The best way is to focus on doing things “by the rules” (see point 1 above) and doing it very well. Yesterday morning, I logged into our search engine optimization (SEO) tool as part of this process. Our team has created some solid content aligned with great SEO opportunities lately, and I was hoping that at least some of them would have started to appear at the top of search results.
